NMN is the abbreviation of Nicotinamide Mononucleotide, and it is also called NAMN, β-NMN, β-Nicotinamide Mononucleotide or Beta Nicotinamide Mononucleotide.
NMN exists in two forms: oxidized form NMN and reduced form NMNH. In human body, the NMN is used by enzymes to generate nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD). NAD plays an important role in promoting cells metabolism. NMNH is a potent NAD+ enhancer, and suppresses glycolysis, TCA cycle and cell growth.
NMN can quickly enter the blood within 10 minutes, and after 30 minutes it is absorbed by the organs of the body and converted into NAD+, which can quickly replenish NAD+ in the body.
Nicotinamide mononucleotide powder is mainly used in supplements and cosmetic ingredients.
