Process:
 
1. Preparation of strains: After the strains are activated in the seed room by the inclined plane and cultivated in the shaker flask, the seeds are moved to the first-level seed tank for expansion cultivation. After a period of cultivation, they are moved to the second-level seed tank for expansion cultivation.

2. Fermentation: After the strains are graded in the seed tank, they are inoculated into the fermentation tank, aerated and stirred at 30°C, and the fermentation time is 48~60h.

3. Fermentation broth treatment: Pretreatment by filtration and ultrafiltration concentration method removes bacterial cells and various insoluble impurities, so that the xanthan gum no longer contains active bacterial cells, insoluble impurities and pigments that affect product quality, etc., and Concentrate the fermentation broth;

4. Precipitation reaction: add water-soluble organic solvent ethanol, etc. and let it stand for about 6 hours to precipitate xanthan gum.

5. Elution and dehydration: the xanthan gum obtained by precipitation was eluted by adding alcohol, and the elution period was 4 hours; the eluted xanthan gum was dehydrated by an automatic disc centrifuge.

6. Drying: After elution and separation, the water content is about 18%. After drying with a vacuum dryer, the water content is reduced to 13%. The drying speed is fast and the temperature is low, which can ensure the production quality.

7. Crushing and packaging: The dried xanthan gum is crushed and sieved by a pulverizer, and then packaged to obtain the finished xanthan gum. 8. Ethanol recovery: the waste ethanol used for elution is distilled in the distillation column and then re-entered into the system for use.
