DBDPE has high bromine content, good thermal stability, good ultraviolet resistance and low exudation than other bromine flame retardant; especially suitable for the flame retardant of high-grade materials of computer, fax machines, telephones, copiers, home appliances, etc. It is widely used in styrene polymer, engineering thermoplastics, wire and cable coating, insulators, elastomers and thermosetting plastics.
DBDPE does not produce toxic polybromine diphenyldioxane (DBDO) and DBDF).
