5. Character: White or colorless crystals or pieces, sometime white fiber or powder. Odourless, slowly soluble in water,  Its water solution is alkaline, soluble in enthanol.
6. Usage: 

     1. Food industry
       Food additives: As emulsifiers, stabilizers, and quality improvers, they are commonly used in meat products, dairy products, and baked goods to  enhance taste and  extend shelf life.
 

     2. Water treatment
     Softener: Used to prevent scale buildup, commonly found in boilers and cooling water systems.

     3. Detergent
Assistive detergent: enhances the cleaning ability of detergent, softens water quality, and improves washing effect.

    4. Agriculture
 Fertilizer: As a source of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers, it promotes plant growth.

    5. Industrial applications
Flame retardant: used for plastics and textiles to enhance flame retardancy.Ceramics and glass: as raw materials, improve product performance.
